Why I blog
Blogs have been around for sometime now. But I only learned how to blog after enrolling for the CI5330, the ways I hope to use blogs, is to communicate library instructions. I will be able to use blogs to distribute library instructions to students or patrons who are faced with long unnecessary commutes to attend onsite classes at the library. Also my blog will enhance time management, so it will allow students who are working during hours that libray instructions are offered, to access these lessons at their own convenience. I hope to learn how to incorporate multimedia tools to display live demos and screen shots to illustrate various skills in libray use. I also hope to get more comfortable with using web 2.0 technology

I think having a blog set up for giving library instructions is a great idea. Face to face meetings are not always possible and blogs are a really effective way to get necessary information to people in an efficient manner. Great idea!
